Essential Functions and Objectives:
Responsible for analyzing DPS organizations in order to define their process and system needs, recommending solutions that deliver value to stakeholders via full project lifecycle support through Initiation, Planning, Execution, and Close.
- Understand the business need (process or system gap, issue, area for improvement) and define business requirements, leveraging subject matter expertise, via critical questioning and business case development support.
- Understand the systems need, translating business requirements to functional requirements, and facilitating translation of functional requirements to technical requirements with technical staff.
- Focus on people, process, and technology requirements of a change, including identifying and addressing impacts of that change.
- Support/facilitate solution design via solution exploration, reference gathering, prototyping, and cost/benefit analysis.
- Work with the business teams to prioritize requirements.
- Support solution development via issue resolution and requirements updates.
- Plan and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Guide users and the organization through necessary change.
- Support end user training.
- Provide end user support during solution deployment.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer and solution transition to operations.
- Create relevant project documentation, including but not limited to current state/future state process flows, business and functional requirements, data flows, system diagrams, end user documentation, and training materials using a variety of tools and templates.
- Structure and facilitate meetings, discussions, working sessions with business customers.
- Finesse decision making and conflict resolution.
- Determine how to best package/present requirements to stakeholders based on audience and intended goal (team review, feedback, approval, etc).
- Demonstrate initiative and ownership of tasks, recommending approach/path to Project Managers where appropriate, seek answers when blocked, and bring solution options and recommendations with identified issues.
- Establish and maintains excellent working relationships with business partners, technology team members and vendors.
- Deliver against multiple priorities and projects, working at the direction of the assigned project manager(s).
- Communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Follow, improve, and implement Business Analysis standards and practices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Knowledge, Experience & Other Qualifications:
- 3-5 years professional work experience in a business analysis function.
- Consulting experience a plus.
- Experience eliciting, developing, presenting, and documenting requirements with exceptional attention to detail.
- Able to critically evaluate and documents information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decomposes high-level information into details, abstracts up from low-level information to a general understanding and distinguishes user requests from the underlying true needs.
- Understands data and how it is consumed by the business and downstream users and systems.
- Experience with data mapping, business requirements analysis, and business process analysis.
- Experience contributing to, following, and maintaining project plans.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Experienced with project management  and Agile development methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with all levels of management, team members, outside vendors, contractors and consultants.
- Understands organizational change management strategies.
- Strong command of MS Office toolset (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and MS Project; experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS).
- A team player that has the ability to motivate the team and drive to project success.
- Interest in education.
Education Requirements: 
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
