IRC33273 *Signal/Power Maintainer– Starting Pay $28.97; Two-year vocational certificate, or AA degree in Electrical Electronic or Electro/Mechanical Technology. Must have minimum five (5) years experience in working with voltages of 440 volts or higher. Must have five (5) years experience working with Micro-Processors. Demonstrated ability to read and understand plans, blueprints, schematics, operation and service manuals, and other written instructions. Must be physically capable of performing all job functions. Must have knowledge of first aid and safety practices. Must pass a mechanical/electrical skills examination with a minimum score of 80%. Demonstrated ability to maintain a high performance level of dependability, reliability and safety. Ability to successfully complete certification program for Signal/Traction Power Maintainer, and then to keep abreast of technical requirements and to re-certify on a periodic basis. All applicants must have or be able to obtain a valid Colorado commercial drivers license Class 'A' with air brake endorsement. Must not have more than five (5) points assessed against driving record in past two (2) years. Ability to pass a RTD required Physical Ability Assessment (PAA) related to the physical requirements of the essential functions of the job.
